Liquor licensees must now complete all of their alcohol-related transactions with the AGCO online through the iAGCO portal
The one-year transition period for phase two of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario’s (AGCO) online service delivery has now ended.
As of January 29, 2019, liquor sales licensees and all other liquor licensees will conduct their AGCO-related transactions online through the iAGCO web-based portal. Traditional paper-based applications, renewals or modifications will no longer be accepted.
All AGCO alcohol-related transactions associated with holding an alcohol-related licence or authorization, including liquor sales licences, endorsements, temporary extension of hours and/or premises and changes and/or additions to existing licensed areas, are now exclusively online for:
Liquor sales licensees
Liquor manufacturers
Manufacturer representatives
Grocery store authorization holders
Auction authorization holders
Liquor delivery services
Ferment on premise facility locations
Submission of all public inquiries, questions, complaints and objections to liquor licence applications are also now paperless and must be made either online through the iAGCO portal or via email, telephone and in-person.
Two- or four-year licence term options available
Licence term options are available when applying for and renewing liquor licences or authorizations. Licensees can select a two or four-year term duration, with fees payable to match the length of the term.
